How do I adjust the sequence of Business Rules inside a Rulebook?

When working with a complex Rulebook, you may often need to rearrange and rewire Business Rules - a process we call "Flow Editing." In HEDDA.IO, this is typically done on the default Rulebook canvas in Edit Mode. However, rewiring multiple Business Rules simultaneously can sometimes be challenging.

To address this, we developed the “Advanced Flow Editor,” a feature that provides complete control over editing the flow of Business Rules. With this tool, you can remove connections between Business Rules, or even disconnect all of them, rearrange the rules as needed, and then reconnect them in your desired sequence.

The Advanced Flow Editor allows you to:

• Duplicate single or multiple Business Rules.
• Add/Delete Business Rules.
• Rename Business Rules.
• Validate the flow of Business Rules.
• Format the canvas to automatically arrange the Business Rules.
• Discard changes if necessary.

To access this feature, simply click the “Advanced Flow Editor” button located in the top-right corner of the Rulebook canvas. All the control buttons are arranged at the top of the canvas.

Once you’ve finished editing, don’t forget to click the “Save” button.
