How to perform data Lookups in HEDDA.IO?

Created by Alexandru Sirbu, Modified on Mon, 13 Jan at 9:44 AM by Alexandru Sirbu

HEDDA.IO enables you to perform lookups into external data tables during an Execution by utilising Data Links and the flexibility of Business Rules.

Data Links play a key role in fetching data from the specified data source and performing the necessary key mapping. The retrieved lookup data can then be seamlessly integrated into Business Rules, where it can be applied during the Preparation, Condition, and/or Actions stages.

To access and use the lookup data or values in these stages - or anywhere else in HEDDA.IO where it's supported -simply use the ‘@’ symbol in the input field. The field hints will indicate where this functionality is allowed.

More information on Data Links and Business Rules can be found in the official HEDDA.IO Documentation.
