What does enabling Git for a Project actually change?

Created by Alexandru Sirbu, Modified on Fri, 20 Feb at 12:19 PM by Alexandru Sirbu

When Git is enabled, the Project stores Knowledge Base data in a Git repository instead of only using a Microsoft SQL Server database. This means HEDDA.IO synchronizes Knowledge Base data between the HEDDA.IO server and a remote Git server, as a way to prevent data loss.

The same integration also enables multiple independent Edit Versions of Knowledge Bases and can significantly improve read performance for Knowledge Base data.
