Linked Environment Branch is an optional pointer to another environment’s branch in the same repository. It is being used to import changes from Projects from other Environments- for example, QA linking to DEV so QA can pull in DEV's latest Knowledge Base changes.
it can be used to import Knowledge Bases from other Projects in the same Environment, not only across environments.
